Happy New Year!

Welcome to a new year at the Featherston Community Centre. Why not make a resolution to come along and see what we do and enjoy the fellowship of your community!

Our manager who has been on maternity leave will at this stage be returning part time on Friday’s from 9.30am – 12.30pm. Welcome back Siv Fjaerestad. Relieving Manager Mary Mason will continue Monday – Thursday 8am – 1pm.

Christmas Raffle

Our Christmas raffle was drawn at the Featherston Police Station on 13 December 2013. The three winners of our fabulous hampers were M Howard, C Perry and C Swanson. With the generous support of the community we were able to raise $1429.50 for the Community Centre. This is a very useful amount of funds. Thank you and congratulations to the winners.

What’s on?

NEW: Creative Drop In Sessions at FCC – starts Wednesday 12 February 2014

7.30 – 9.30pm, Art Room, Featherston Community Centre.

Koha – $2 per person per session

This is a weekly creative expressions evening is starting at the Featherston Community Centre. If you are working on a project or just want to come and discover your artistic side then come along. You will need to bring your own paper, paint, pens, pencils, clay etc (no teaching, just good company and fun).

Counselling for couples or individuals. Contact Trudi Betschart on mobile 021 0450 491. Trudi is a member of MNZAC and is experienced in all aspects of counselling; – adults, adolescents and children. Trudi is also able to see people on a Saturday.
